This term has a little things about veterinary... Chemistry, maths, orientation, english... but, the subject that I love is animal diversity (Called Zoology too).

Zoology is, by far, the most interesting (for me, obviously) subject this term! Known the different animals living in the planet is a kind of passion to me! All tuesdays in the morning we have animal diversity, and the teacher changes depending the topic that we'll have to study. They are experts in the areas! (Like Amphibians, fishes, nematodes, etc). In addition, fridays in the afternoon some of us have animal diversity's laboratories, where we can see different kinds of animals! Last week I opened a fish! It was amazing!!!!!!!!

With this subject, I can understand and learn about different forms of life in our planet, and its characteristics and unique forms, adaptation and way of life to, in the future, apply some things in my career. The world isn't only cats, cows, horses and dogs.

So, I like this subject because I can learn about all animals in general and it give the opportunities to know wild animals and to fix my curiosity about the world! It is the best!

Greetings!!!

The good trainer

I really have not any person who I admire in this career... Enter to study Veterinary was a crazy idea that appeared inside my head one day last year. But if I choose someone, I choose Victoria Stilwell, who presents the Animal Planet dog training TV show It's Me or the Dog.

She was born in July 20, 1969 in Wimbledon, England. At first she was an actress, but one day her sister (A veterinary nurse) suggested Victoria to start a dog-walking aggency. And she did it. Working as a dog walking woman, she could see the problems to find a good professional to training her client's dogs. So, Victoria started to learn how to train a dog on a positive-reinforcement way. And now, she is one of most recognized and respected dog trainers in the world.

I admire Victoria because her way of training is perfect! She's so strict in the training and the permissions about what can do the dog and the owner and the things that are so prohibited! She said all the things (Positive and negative, obviously), and she doesn't really care if the owners are agree or disagree with the problems she detects in the pets of her clients, she only makes her work. The point is training a dog in a good way and to obtain the wished behaviour. It's the dog... or her. The name is perfect.
